This Bread May Be Delicious, But You Don’t Want To Know Its Main Ingredient
Answering the question that every middle-school boy has when they hear about vaginal yeast in health class, one woman has managed to make bread out of her thrush.
When blogger Zoe Stavri came down with a yeast infection, she decided to bake her symptoms with a bit of flour to make a loaf of bread. I hope this chef kept her food to herself.
On Stavri’s blog, she said that this recipe called for “a fatal combination of a slightly perverse sense of humor, a keenly scientific mind, and touch of thrush.”
But seriously, this combination might actually be fatal. Don’t eat this.
After “scraping white goop off of a dildo” (her words, not mine), she threw the discharge into a mixture of flour and water and placed it in the oven.
The result was a surprisingly nice-looking loaf of bacteria-filled sourdough bread.
She then garnished the bread and ate it.
Stavri says she’s not trying to make any kind of statement with her strange experiment, but she does hope that her bread “will make men incredibly suspicious of women making them sandwiches.” Believe me, I will be making my own sandwiches from now on. I have no qualms with that.
